Prof. Sun Di from Shandong University was invited to give a talk on May 13, 2025, entitled “Construction and Evolutionary Mechanisms of Graded Silver Clusters”.
Prof. Sun Di's main research interests are
1. design, synthesis and functionalization of functional compounds. 2;
2. design, synthesis and functionality of metal clusters; 3. chemistry of low-dimensional nanomaterials; and
3. chemistry of low-dimensional nanomaterials; 4. computational chemistry of clusters

6. cluster physical chemistry;
7. mass spectrometry analysis of complex solution systems.
Since 2016, he has published as a corresponding author in Sci. Adv. (3 articles), Nat. Synth. (1 article), Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. (1 article), Nat. Commun. (9 articles), J. Am. Chem. Soc. (13 articles), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. ( 21 articles), Adv. Chem. (21 articles), Adv. Mater. (3 articles), Natl Sci Rev (1 article), Sci. Bull. (2 articles), CCS Chem. (4 articles), etc. He has published more than 100 SCI papers, which have been cited by domestic and foreign academic peers for more than 10,000 times in international journals (H index = 64). He was awarded the Second Prize of Natural Science in Shandong Province in 2021 (first place) and Lu Jiaxi Outstanding Tutor Award, and has been selected as one of Elsevier's Highly Cited Scholars in China (Chemistry, 2021-2024) for four consecutive years. He is currently an Associate Editor of National Science Open, and an Editorial Board Member of Chin.
