Prof. Shuxin Wang from Qingdao University of Science and Technology visited our group on April 11, 2023, and gave a presentation entitled "Research on the Synthesis Methodology and Optical and Electrical Properties of Alloy Nanoclusters". Prof. Wang has long been engaged in research on the synthesis, structure, optical, catalytic, and biosensing properties of alloy nanoclusters. His main academic achievements include: 1) establishing and improving the method for synthesizing alloy nanoclusters through metal exchange, which has been widely employed by researchers both domestically and internationally; 2) The geometric/electronic structure evolution of gold nanomaterials, and the cluster growth mechanism of gold collapse growth is proposed, which provides a new way for understanding the evolution process of metal nanomaterials; 3) The fluorescence generation mechanism of cluster was partially clarified, and a series of metal nanoclusters with high optical quantum yield and precise structure were synthesized, which realized the control of optical quantum yield and emission band.
