On the occasion of the 40th Teachers' Day on September 10, 2024, Qingdao Energy Institute (QEI) held the 2024 Graduate Student Political Work Conference and the first “My Favorite Tutor” Award Ceremony in Conference Room 112 of the Complex Building of Wanggao Manor Area, where six teachers, including researcher Sun Xiaoyan, were awarded the prize on the recommendation of students from all research laboratories/centers by secret ballot and by the resolution of the Institute's Board of Governors, After the recommendation of all the students from each research laboratory/center, secret ballot of all the graduate student representatives, and the resolution of the Institute Council, six teachers, including researcher Sun Xiaoyan, were awarded this honor.

As the representative of the award-winning tutors, Dr. Sun Xiaoyan shared his own experience of studying and teaching at various stages of tutoring, and combined with his own personal experience of training postgraduates, he called on all of us to really think about the students and do our best to help the students' overall development.
