Dr. Yuchao Zhang from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to visit our group on October 25, 2024, and gave a lecture entitled “Photoelectrocatalytic Oxygen Atom Transfer”.

His research interests include photoelectrocatalytic water oxidation, organic molecule transformation, pollutant degradation and related proton-coupled charge transfer mechanisms. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Peking University and Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCS), and did his postdoctoral research at the University of Florida, U.S.A. He joined the team of Academician Zhao Jincai at ICCS in 2019. His research results have been published as corresponding author inNature Catalysis, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Natl. Sci. Rev.,Energy Environ. Sci. and otheracademic journals. He serves as a young editorial board member ofEcoEnergy, Frontiers in Energy.
